Window Replacement
One of the many critical aspects of the building envelope is a the window. It creates space, light and seals out the weather. Here in New England it is paramount to install windows & doors with care and consideration. If they are not installed properly they can cause significant water damage attracting carpenter ants, mold and rot.
IMPROPER FLASHING
The difference between someone who cares and someone with the cheapest quote can be substantial.
In this image you can see the results of an improperly installed window. The water found the path of least resistance which unfortunately was into the house. If these widows were installed properly they would not have leaked, caused rot and attracted carpenter ants. Luckily the structure of the house was still intact.
